Third Annual Signature Event 2008
Thanks to everyone that participated in our Signature Event this year
on May 3, 2008 at Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack. Information
about the event as well as pictures will be posted soon.

ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY
Held at the Drexelbrook in Drexel Hill,
PA on Friday, December 14, 2007. Over 200 employees, families, friends,
and consumers attended this event filled with food, gifts, dancing, and
raffle drawings.

TELETHON
On September 10, 2007 over 20 Community
Interactions employees and consumers participated in the WHYY telethon.
CI attendees answered the phones and took callers pledges for the WHYY
station. This is the 2nd year that Community Interactions has helped to
participate in the telethon.

RETREAT
On Wednesday July 18, 2007
Community Interactions, Inc. celebrated its 5th Annual Staff
Recognition and Retreat at the Redwood
Center in Upland, PA.
This years retreat was thought by many to be the best retreat that CI has
orchestrated, with over 200 people in attendance. The attendees were comprised
of direct care staff, administrative staff, state representatives, self
advocates, and state officials. The
retreat is, and has always been, fueled by the self advocates of Community
Interactions who wanted to acknowledge the staff persons that support them and
who go above and beyond the duties required of Community Support
Associates. This year 41 direct care employees were recognized and of the 41
direct care employees 12 were selected by the consumers to receive the highest
recognition. |
SUMMER FORMAL
Community Interactions, Inc. held its 1st Summer Formal on Friday, July 13, 2007.
This special event was held at the Springfield Country Club in
Springfield, PA with over 100 people in attendance. Everyone ate,
laughed, and danced the night away. Everyone is looking forward to next
years formal!!! |
