Community Supports Associate
The
Community Support Associate (CSA) is responsible for providing quality
person-centered services to customers either in Community Homes or
community-based Day Program. Although this is an entry-level position,
it carries a great deal of responsibility, because as a direct service
staff, the CSA must maintain the proper balance between individual
growth / dignity of risk and the supports and services needed to ensure
the health, welfare and safety of specific individuals served,
according to Individual Service/Support Plans. The Community Support
Associate is responsible for meeting service expectations of consumers
and families, as well as that of funders and licensing entities, under
the supervision of the Team Leader.
Minimum Reqirements:
- A high school diploma is required.
- Some experience working with persons with developmental disabilities and/or mental health needs is preferred.
- Twenty-one years old with a good driving record and no restrictions on driver's license.
Team Leader
The Team Leader has line authority over specific residential or day
program. The Team Leader is responsible for assuring the provision of
quality person-centered services to customers. The Team Leader will
ensure that the direct support staff maintains the proper balance
between individual growth / dignity of risk and the supports and
services needed to ensure the health, welfare and safety of specific
individuals served, according to Individual Service/Support Plans.
Minimum Reqirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
- Four years experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
Must demonstrate:
- Knowledge of regulatory standards.
- Proven written and oral communication skills.
- Computer literate (proficient with MS Office software).
- Twenty-one years old with a good driving record and no restrictions on driver's license.
