Community Interaction's Resource Center, located in Swarthmore, Delaware County, PA is home to the Friendly Visitor's Service. This service is a supportive day service provided to people with developmental disabilities who live in nursing homes. This particular services is funded by OBRA and offer companionship and recreational opportunities to people with disabilities who are confined to skilled nursing care. These support hours are only for a few hours a week per person however they provide a lifeline to a person confined to a nursing home.
