Community
Interactions' Supported Employment Program assists individuals with
disabilities to successfully navigate employment in a competitive
workplace. This is accomplished with an array of services for the
individual, including career counseling, vocational profile
development, situational assessment, job development and placement, and
job coaching.
CI's program identifies the individual's
interest, abilities, work experience, education and skills. Our
Employment Specialist works with individuals to set career goals,
assist and writing resumes and the search for a job, practice
completing a job application and provide interview training.
Job
coaching follows the consumer to their new workplace, providing support
and assistance while the individual learns the job duties and
responsibilities plus the specific job tasks and work assignments -
supporting the individual as he/she adapts to the work environment. |
